Our Vision
Japanese Immersive Theater
日本独自のイマーシブシアターを作り、海外へ発信する
daisydozeは、日本独自のイマーシブシアターを作るクリエイティブユニットです。架空の設定ではなく、物語に上演地のサイトスペシフィックな要素を取り入れた作品創りを追求しています。
実在する場を活用し、その土地の歴史や神話を抽出することで、観客を現実と幻想の交差点で揺さぶり、味わったことのない新たな感覚や、自分自身に出逢わせることができると考えています。
また、私たちは演劇的要素である「ダンス」「歌」「芝居」の要素を横断的にミックスするだけでなく「インスタレーションアート」の要素も絡めた総合芸術として、イマーシブシアターを昇華させることを目指しています。
「ここでしか体験出来ない物語」「daisydoze でしか創れない作品」という意味での「Japanese Immersive Theater」と定義し発信することで、その上演都市に日本はもちろん海外からも観客を呼ぶことが出来るよう努めております。
daisydoze is the one of the foremost site-specific immersive theater company in Japan. By utilizing real places and extracting stories based on their history, myth, and memories, we believe that we can make the audience wonder at the intersection of reality and fantasy.
In addition, we aim to sublimate immersive theater as a comprehensive art experience that not only mixes theatrical elements of "dance," "song," and "play", but also involves elements of "installation art".
We define "Japanese Immersive Theater" in the sense of "a story that can only be experienced here" and "a work that can only be created at daisydoze". We could bring audiences from Japan and abroad to the cities where our productions are presented.
